- This has been suggested many times in the recent past. It typically is
- responded to with little enthusiasm due to people saying it can't be
- done, or its low priority.
-
- I belive this should be a priority. It is where the future lies to a
- big regard (multi-CPU systems), and we need to prepare and make ourselves
- a part of the wave when it hits, rather than trying to catch up when it
- does. I am not saying it is a snap to do, only that it needs to be done.
-
- If the PowerAmiga's OS is going to be hardware independant, would that
- make it easier to have a Multi-CPU motherboard/CPU card?
-
- While this can't likely be done 'easily', it can be done. Lets move on
- it! The ability to buy an Amiga that you can add a 2nd or 3rd or 4th CPU
- to when you can afford it, select the number of CPUs through a prefernece
- selection in the OS and be off and running is what I envision.
